Cette bourse est destinée aux chercheuses et aux chercheurs, français et étrangers, en histoire de l’art souhaitant mener une recherche sur « l’art commercial au XXe siècle » en partant de la définition que Raymonde Moulin a donnée dans les années 1970, et dans le contexte des arts modestes définis par Hervé di Rosa dans les années 1990, en l’appliquant le plus largement possible à toutes les formes d’arts visuels. Cette étude pourra éventuellement être le support pour la réalisation d’une exposition au Musée international des arts modestes. La recherche aboutira à un texte, article, livre ou catalogue selon l’orientation choisie par les lauréats, dans une échéance fixée avec les institutions partenaires. Le lauréat est accueilli au MIAM et pourra bénéficier des ressources bibliographiques du musée et de l’artiste Hervé Di Rosa.

Le montant de la bourse est de 24 000 euros pour 12 mois de recherche.

  • Dossier de candidature : CV, projet de recherche (5 pages max), attestation d’une formation en histoire de l’art (inscription en thèse ou post-doctorat), lettre de candidature, lettre de soutien par un chercheur.

Call for applications Research Grant  MIAM – Fondation Antoine de Galbert – INHA

This grant is intended for french and international art history researchers, who wish to conduct  research about « non-legitimate art from the point of view of high culture in XXth century », under the definition that was given by Raymonde Moulin in the 1970’s and in the context of « arts modestes » defined by Hervé Di Rosa in the 1990’s. The research may be extended to all forms of visual arts. This work could be the support for the implementation of an art exhibition at the MIAM. The investigation should result in a text, article, book or catalogue, according to the orientation chosen by the recipient, and in a deadline set out with partner institutions. The recipient will be received at the MIAM and will benefit from bibliographical resources put at disposal by the Museum and the artist Hervé Di Rosa.

The grant offers 24000€ for one year of research.

  • Opening period : February-March, every two years, starting 2021
