Jennifer Ferng a été chercheuse boursière de la Samuel H. Kress Foundation à l'INHA entre 2009 et 2011. Dans le cadre de son séjour, elle a poursuivi ses recherches autour du thème: "Nature’s Objects : geology, aesthetics, and the understanding of materiality in Britain and France, 1750-1850 ".
