These scholarships consist of travel expense reimbursements, up to a maximum of 1,000 euros for trips in 2026.

Applications will be evaluated according to the quality of the presentation of the research topic, the justification for a trip to France and finally the degree of preparation for this trip (identification of resources or sources to be consulted and a correctly assessed budget).

Who can apply ?

Candidates must be master’s student in art history duly registered in a higher education or research institution in a country from the European Union in 2025-2026 regardless of nationality.

Application

The application package will include:

  • A cover letter addressed to the Director of the Department of Studies and Research of INHA. The cover letter should include a description of the proposed research project, the reasons for the research (specifying which institutions and collections / archives will be consulted), the duration and the period of stay;
  • A curriculum vitae;
  • A letter of support from the research supervisor;
  • A budget for the proposed research project;
  • Copy of a student card valid for the year 2025-2026.
